A double wind turbine and generator unit is available to be housed within the last quarter section of the bedliner when in use, this portable unit can also be in the front tool box if the space is needed or stored in the garage until it is needed for the long trips. The turbine cover will have a remote control to open and close the turbine intake scoop and the exhaust port.
The electricity generated will recharge the large batteries stored in the space between the bedliner side walls and the interior of the pickup side bed walls, also will continually refrigerate the insulated cooler/tool boxes within the bedliner.
The horizontal cover panels of the bedliner can be turned over and placed back into the grooves, the under sides of the horizontal panels will have solar cells to be used as back energy for recharging the portable batteries when the pickup is motionless.
The pickup batteries and solar panels can be used as the power supply for your camper trailer when you are camping in a remote area where there is no power source available.
The addition of a remote control to lock and unlock the cover and toolboxes and also activate the spring loaded vertical panels will make a nice smooth surface and handles will be unnecessary, and making the remote control an additional security feature.
This new concept of the “One Minute Security Cover” pickup bedliner and cover will be a full use component of the new energy saving and environmental friendly era of wind and solar battery powered accessories for the pickup truck.
